GOOD LUCK IN THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON

Notice of Chinese New Year Holiday Closure - Year of the Dragon 2024

Dear Valued Partners and Customers,

As we usher in the Year of the Dragon 2024, we wish to inform you that our office will be closed for the Chinese New Year holidays from February 7th to February 18th,2024.

During this festive period, our team will be taking a well-deserved break to spend time with family and rejuvenate after a bustling outdoor camping season.

Please note that we will be unable to respond to emails or inquiries promptly during the holiday closure. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we enjoy this time of rest and celebration.

You may wonder when our suppliers will resume operations.

We anticipate that all our suppliers will have returned from their holidays by the end of February, with some resuming a bit earlier and others slightly later.

By February 29th, we expect most workers to be back at work.

Why do some factories have longer breaks?

The duration of the holiday break can vary, particularly due to the workers’ origins.

Many workers travel from afar to join their families, and as such, companies often extend longer breaks, especially for non-local employees, to accommodate this significant time of travel and family reunion.

Is everything closed during the holidays?

It’s a common question, and indeed, most administrative offices, including customs and forwarding services, will not be operational during this period.

The Chinese New Year holiday is a peak travel time across China and internationally, as it represents one of the rare opportunities for workers and employees to take an extended break, allowing them to undertake long-distance journeys to be with their loved ones.

We thank you for your understanding and wish you a joyful and prosperous Year of the Dragon. We look forward to reconnecting and continuing our collaboration after the holiday period.

Best Regards,

Pierre PINEL & ESSE TEAM
