How long is the Chinese New Year break?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival 2022, is just around the corner!

Lunar New Year, also called Spring Festival, is the most important holiday in China. Offices, banks, factories, shops, and non-essential services will close doors for a long holiday. Hotels and large retail outlets stay open and may even be busier than usual!

Chinese New Year is a time to be home with family, prompting a massive migration of people across China to their hometowns and villages.

This year due to Covid restrictions (Potential Quarantine period required on way back to your working place), there might be fewer people traveling around each province.

So here are the main questions about such a long Tiger break!

WHEN DOES ESSE OFFICE BE OFF DUTY?

ESSE’s last day in the office is Friday, 28 JAN 2022, return to work on Tuesday, 08 FEB 2022.

WHEN DO MANUFACTURERS BE OFF DUTY?

Each factory has its separate closing and opening dates, depending on which provinces the workers are from.

The factory SALES OFFICES (based on an average of all our suppliers) will be closed from 26 JAN 2022, back to offices on 08 FEB 2022.

The factories’ (production) closing dates (on average among all our suppliers) will be from 23 JAN 2022, and workers back on 16 FEB 2022.
