The ABS Clamshell RTT has a hard shell body shaped and tested in a wind tunnel, so it stays quiet up to roughly 130 km/h instead of drumming on the motorway. A full aluminium internal frame carries rails on all four sides for an awning, solar panel or gear, and the universal bracket system fits most vehicles without a model-specific kit.
The Essential edition of the ABS Clamshell RTT uses 420D polyester fabric and powder-coated stainless parts. The Flagship adds German Stabilus gas struts, two aerodynamic spoilers, 280 g main fabric, felt underlay, a vacuum-pack storage bag, a grab handle and wide angled ladder treads.
