A roof-mounted cargo bag with a semi-rigid moulded shell, built for vehicles that carry gear on the rails rather than inside the cabin. Loads through a single zip and straps down in minutes.
The 4×4 Bag moves bulky gear out of the cabin and onto the roof. Its semi-rigid moulded shell holds its shape when loaded, so the contents stay protected and the profile stays clean on the move. A full-length zip opens the whole bag without unstrapping it, and new camo spandex stretch binding around the opening lets it open easily and close flush.
A complete strap set comes in the box: two 1.2 m straps, four 1 m hook straps and four 0.5 m webbing straps, enough to secure the bag to roof rails or cross bars. Two side carry handles make lifting it on and off the roof a job for two people instead of a ladder.
The 4×4 Bag is an ESSE in-house design built on our own mould and developed for 2027 product ranges. Branding is available on request, and final dimensions are being confirmed ahead of the first production run.
